Throughout the two years I’ve been on the Finance Advisory Committee for the City of DeKalb, I’ve heard the phrase “internal equity.” The first time I heard it was last year during the FY2009 budget deliberations. The City Council had just voted themselves a 10% pay cut to show leadership needed for some tough decisions that needed to be made. The Genoa Chamber of Commerce, in their continuing efforts to bring AMTRAK service through Genoa, is now asking DeKalb County residents to raise their voices loudly as a show of regional support to IDOT and AMTRAK. WordPress 2.8.3 Fixes Security HolesIf you haven’t already done so, we’d stongly recommend upgrading to WordPress 2.8.3. Also, the WordPress 2.0.x branches are now deprecated (a bit earlier then expected) and will therefore no longer be maintained. [Link]
