Wheaton Academy Men’s Basketball 2011-2012 Opens Season

The temperature has dropped and the fall season is behind us. Now it is time to move inside for some hoop action at Wheaton Academy. The Warrior’s will be lead this year by returning starting guards Lars Olsen and Drew Sandberg, as well as new comer Cameron Harvey from Westchester St. Josephs High School. Coach Paul Ferguson’s team kicked off the season this past week hosting their 3rd annual Thanksgiving Tournament.

The Warriors topped off tournaments wins over Downer’s Grove North, Streamwood, and Wheaton Warrenville South, only to fall to Bartlett High School in the championship on Saturday night. With a 3-1 record to start the season it looks as if the Warriors are not rebuilding from a 2010 Regional Championship, but reloading.

Good luck to the Wheaton Academy Men’s Basketball season in 2011-12.
