Stage Coach Players – Auditions and Scholarships

Auditions for the 2012 season of Stage Coach Players will be held this Saturday through Monday, March 3-5.  Auditions for the plays listed below will be on Saturday and Sunday, March 3&4, 1pm – 5pm; and Monday, March 5, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Immanuel Lutheran Church 511 Russell Road, DeKalb.

Auditions for the following plays will be held: “MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING” by William Shakespeare, “FORBIDDEN BROADWAY” by Gerard Alessandrini, “PRIVATE EYES” by Steven Dietz, “GUYS & DOLLS” by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows (dual cast: adult and Youth), “THE DINING ROOM” by A.R. Gurney, “NOT NOW DARLING” by Ray Cooney and John Chapman.

The Board of Directors of Stage Coach Players, the community theater organization in DeKalb, will again be awarding two $250 scholarships to students in DeKalb County who are pursuing degrees in the performing arts (theater and music performance only). Applications from students majoring in other subjects will not be considered. Apply by printing, completing and submitting the Application Form. The deadline for RECEIPT of applications is Monday, April 9, 2012. Applications will not be accepted after this date.
