Boys Only…Your Changing Body

A program designed for 9 – 12 year old boys and their dads. The natural physical and emotional changes a young boy experiences can be overwhelming and puzzling. Knowing what to expect can lessen anxiety and make the transition smoother. Boys Only…Your Changing Body is June 3, from 6 – 7:30 pm at Kish Hospital Roberts Conference Center. $10/family. Are you or is someone you care about a smoker? Is quitting an option? Time to Quit Tobacco

Are you ready to overcome you addiction to tobacco? This class is for smokers or spit tobacco users who are ready to improve their health and take control of their lives.  Time To Quit Tobacco is held Tuesdays beginning June 4, from 6:30 – 8 pm in the Kish Hospital Roberts Conference Center. This program is $25/person or free if you’ve taken a Kish Hospital quit smoking class in the last year. Refundable if all classes are attended. Its important to provide children and teens with healthy nutrition and hydration, especially those who play summer sports. A Kish Hospital Registered Dietitian provides tips and ideas to help make sure your child stays healthy and safe. Grace Mott is an NIU alumni with a BS in Family Social Services graduating with high honors. She began her working career as a Juvenile Probation Officer, then was in charge of the teenage runaways through the DeKalb County Youth Service Bureau. She owned and operated a campground in southern DeKalb County from 1990 to 2000.
