The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting®

On the second Sunday of December, a special candle lighting ceremony is held around the world for those who have experienced the loss of a child. This gentle service will provide a meaningful moment during the holiday season dedicated to remembering and honoring what you will never forget: the life of your child. You are encouraged to bring a picture of your child to be place on a remembrance table during the service. CPR Healthcare Provider Renewal

This course is intended to renew CPR skills for participants who provide healthcare to patients in a wide variety of situations including in and out-of-hospital settings. These healthcare providers may include (but are not limited to) nurses, paramedics, EMTs, respiratory therapists, CNAs, and other allied health personnel. Grace Mott is an NIU alumni with a BS in Family Social Services graduating with high honors. She began her working career as a Juvenile Probation Officer, then was in charge of the teenage runaways through the DeKalb County Youth Service Bureau. She owned and operated a campground in southern DeKalb County from 1990 to 2000.
