Kishwaukee College will be holding a Visit Day this Monday, February 15 beginning at 10:00 a.m. for prospective students and their families. Check-in will begin at 9:00 a.m. in the Kishwaukee College Conference Center. Bryce Law, Coordinator of Student Outreach and Orientation at Kishwaukee College, said, “The best way to decide on which college to attend is to visit campus. Come check it out, walk through our facilities, talk with our students, and attend a session or two. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by all that Kishwaukee College has to offer!”
Visit Day will feature a conference-style schedule that allows participants to choose which sessions will most benefit them. Each timeslot offers three different session options offering visitors the opportunity to customize their day and make the most of their visit. Lunch will also be provided. Law recommends that visitors arrive early to have the full range of session options.
Session topics being offered during the Visit Day include: Campus Life, Major Exploration, Career Technologies Programs, Transfer Programs, Financial Aid and Scholarships, Student Activities, Student Success Tips, Supporting Your Student, Athletics, TRiO/Student Support Services and more.
In addition, a morning Information Fair will be held in the Conference Center as families check in. Representatives from student service areas and academic programs will be on hand to answer questions on resources available to help students succeed.
