Free Airplane Rides For Kids

Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 241 will host free airplane rides for the Young Eagles Program on August 18 at DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport. The program encourages young people ages 8 through 17 to take an interest in aviation. Participants will have the opportunity to take a flight and experience pilots in action. Following the flight, each Young Eagle will receive a logbook, free EAA membership and more.

Those interested in flying should come to the main terminal building at 9:00am on Saturday, August 18th to register. Flights will begin at about 9:00am., with registration closing at 10:30am. For more information, visit www.eaa241.org.ns
