Bring your family out to Katz Park for a FREE overnight event this Saturday, June 13th, 2015. Enjoy learning about the night sky with astronomers from NIU’s Observatory who will have telescopes for viewing planets and constellations.
Bring some snacks, blankets, and sleeping bags to enjoy watching the night sky change before your eyes. The experts on hand will be available to answer your questions, and education activities will be provided throughout the night by NIU STEM Outreach and DeKalb Park District Staff.
This unique event will take place at Katz Park, on West Dresser Rd., just east of the new high school. Follow their event page on Facebook for any last minute changes.
