Tuesday, May 8, 2012
Farm Bureau, 1350 West Prairie Drive, Sycamore
Emerald ash borer, Asain longhorned beetle, brown marmorated stink bug, and multicolored Asian lady beetle are just some of the alien insects that have been found in the U.S. and Illinois. The identification, biology, and management of these and other invaders will be discussed. We will also address some of the reasons for what appears to be an increase in these invaders.
$5 per person. Pre-registration is required. Sessions may be cancelled if there is insufficient enrollment. If you need reasonable accommodation to attend this workshop, please notify the University of Illinois Extension office when registering.
