Classical Conversations holds Homeschooling Informational Meeting Monday night
Classical Conversations is a community of homeschool families committed to learning using the Classical Model while integrating a Biblical worldview. Their program is a support to families who make the decision to homeschool their children Kindergarten through High School. Classes meet once a week and families work through the curriculum at home for the remainder of the week.
Classical Conversations' program is modeled after the one-room schoolhouse where one teacher, equipped with the tools of learning, teaches multiple subjects so students can see the integration of subject matter while learning how to learn.
The DeKalb/Sycamore community will be holding an Information Meeting for parents to get more information on the Classical Model and how Classical Conversations uses its program to support homeschooling families. The Information Meeting will be held at Evangelical Free Church of DeKalb-Sycamore on the corner of Bethany Road and First Street on Monday, March 8, at 7 pm. They will also be holding Open House event where parents can bring their students to participate and observe a class day. That date is March 15th. Please RSVP if you plan to attend one of these dates or to get more information: SEND EMAIL or SEND EMAIL. To learn more about Classical Conversations please GO TO SITE

'Willy Wonka' is a magical, musical tale of a poor English boy, Charlie Bucket, whose wildest fantasies come true when he and his grandfather get to tour the world famous chocolate factory of the reclusive Willy Wonka . Once inside the factory, however, they must share the experience with a group of spoiled, bratty children and their equally unpleasant parents. Strange and fantastical adventures unfold.
For more than 50 years, the Children's Community Theatre has presented many great musicals for our community children. More information and showtimes can be found on the Children's Community Theatre website GO TO SITE
