All You Can Eat Buffet at Sycamore VFW to benefit Pay It Forward House

payitforwardlogoCome to the Sycamore VFW this Saturday, February 9 from 4 – 8 p.m. for a great All You Can Eat Buffet to benefit the Pay It Forward House. Tickets are $12 for each adult and $6 for each child 12 and under. The buffet will include barbeque chicken, rib tips, rotisserie pork sandwiches, country style baked beans, steakhouse potato salad, applesauce, coleslaw, rolls and dessert. The benefit is proudly sponsored by The Country Store & Catering in Sycamore. The Sycamore VFW is located at 121 S. California Street in downtown Sycamore.

Huge Pay It Forward Garage Sale

The Pay It Forward House in Sycamore is hosting a huge garage sale this Friday and Saturday, September 14th and 15th, from 8am-3pm. There will be lots and lots of household items and collectables of all kinds.

The garage sale will be held at the Pay It Forward House, 719 Somonauk St., Sycamore, all proceeds benefitting Pay-It-Forward House. Phone 815-762-4882  for more information.

Pay-It-Forward House Volunteer Orientation

Are you interested in learning more about Pay-It-Forward House’s mission,and volunteer opportunities? Then plan to attend the volunteer orientation on Thursday, October 20th from 7-8pm.

Pay-It-Forward House provides a place of rest and respite for the family members and friends of patients receiving medical treatment in DeKalb County. Most of the guests are far from home, visiting a loved one at Kindred Hospital-Sycamore, at Kishwaukee Community Hospital or under the care of DeKalb County Hospice. Pay-It-Forward House welcomes them to catch their breath and get some rest, whether for a few hours or a few weeks. Their warm, friendly home-away-from-home was created to help alleviate the stress and worry of persons living through a loved one’s illness.

Meet Me At The Fair for Pay It Forward House

Meet Me At The Fair is a free, fun-filled, family fundraising event for the Pay It Forward House happening this Saturday, July 16th, from 3-6pm. There will be children’s games, treat walk, face painting, fun raffle prize sales, many silent auction items and free food, live music and entertainment to benefit Pay-It-Forward House’s mission.

Pay-It-Forward House provides a place of rest and respite for the family members and friends of patients receiving medical treatment in DeKalb County.  The Pay-It-Forward House welcomes them to catch their breath and get some rest, whether for a few hours (free of charge) or a few weeks (at minimal expense).
