March 15, 2012 – Last Day to Apply for Absentee Ballot


The last day to an apply for an absentee ballot, (Vote from Home), to be received by the office of County Clerk & Recorder is March 15, 2012. Please ensure that if you wish to vote by mail, that you have your application to receive a ballot well in advance of the deadline to assure your ballot is delivered on time and is able to be postmarked no later than 12:00 midnight on March 19, 2012.

Voters interested in voting from home, or absentee must submit their application to vote, (download at, or contact the office at 815.895.7147 ), on or before March 15, 2012.

After completing the application, the ballot will be mailed directly to the address you specify. The ballots must be postmarked no later than 12:00 midnight, March 19, 2012; and must be received no later than 14 days after the Election.
