itv-at-sandwich-opera-houseA recent Community Needs Grant to the Indian Valley Theatre in Sandwich will help the group continue to produce high quality community productions. Funds from the DeKalb County Community Foundation (DCCF) paid for replacement of broken stage platforms, doors, and stairs at the Sandwich Opera House; their primary performance venue.

Matt Johnson, Indian Valley Theatre Vice President, says that without the DCCF grant, the organization would have had to hope no one was injured due to safety hazards caused by the needed repairs. Now that repairs are complete, dangerous problems like broken floor boards and door jams have been solved.

Indian Valley Theatre’s next production, Post Mortem, will take place on February 22 – 24. Click here for more information.
