Kishwaukee College’s Collision Repair Technology Program (CRT) received two vehicles from Allstate Insurance for students in the program to gain experience. Greg Brink, CRT faculty, had contacted the I-CAR Foundation about possible vehicle donations. The Kishwaukee College information was shared with Allstate which donated the 2000 Honda Civic and a 2003 Honda Accord, each of which had sustained body damage in separate accidents.
Brink stated, ”We are grateful to Allstate for this donation. We will use them in our structural repair course and repair them. Then we will be able to use them in some of the other classes as well.” Jim Ledder, claim field director at Allstate, stated, “Allstate is proud to support Kishwaukee College and contribute to their collision repair program. “We are proud to offer our resources to help ensure that students have access to high-quality equipment to learn from for years to come.” Pictured are several CRT students with the donated vehicles. Registration for Fall 2014 is currently in progress. For more information on enrolling for Fall, contact New Student Connections at 815-825-2086, ext. 6099 or email welcome@kishwaukeecollege.edu.
