Ballot initiatives, the change in leadership in Springfield, and ongoing national issues with policing will be topics for ongoing discussions at the next League of Women Voters of DeKalb County meeting that will be held on Wednesday, January 7, at 7:00 p.m. in the narthex of the Congregational Church in DeKalb, 615 N. First Street. The parking lot is behind the church. The public is welcome to attend Wednesday’s meeting, participate in the discussions, and find out more about the League of Women Voters.
Due the possibility of inclement weather Wednesday evening, for anyone interested in attending the meeting but would prefer to participate from the warm comfort of home, the League added a conference call service. For detailed instructions on how to participate in the meeting via a conference call, please send e-mail to: email@example.com by 5:00 p.m on January 7th. Long distance charges may apply to land lines but otherwise should be at no charge from a cell phone.
