DeKalb County Youth Services Bureau (DCYSB) invites you to join them for an enchanted evening filled with family fun, music and dancing, crafts, and other royal activities that will surely captivate your princes and princesses! This is an extremely fun annual community fundraiser for the DCYSB and held at NIU’s Altgeld Castle, 595 College Avenue in DeKalb.
This year the Royal Ball includes several new features including; Magician James Grainger will be performing two magic shows an hour for the whole three hour-long event; Balloon Artist Lica Lorraine will be making wonderful, creative balloon animals for the children and families; the Interact Club from Sycamore High School will be helping with arts, crafts and awesome face painting; and Dance Dimensions dance troop will be performing Disney-themed choreography on stage at 7:00pm and 8:00pm. The talented DJ Comstock will again be playing sweet tunes all night and Stephen Alan Salon will be coming to spruce up all the princes and princesses.
Purchase your tickets by March 11th and you are entered in for a chance to win a magical ride for up to seven people in a Tesla Model S Electric Car to the ball. Each ticket purchased is an entry. There are seven passenger seats available, which includes two jump seats in the back for children under 54 inches tall (therefore no need for booster seats). The DeKalb County Youth Service Bureau has been enriching the lives and relationships of youth ages 8 to 18 and their families for 40 years through counseling and networking with other community resources, assist youth with problem-solving and developing programs to meet the needs of youth.
