Huskie fans of all ages are invited to join Northern Illinois University student-athletes and staff at the Huskie Family Fun Day and Movie Night from 4 to 8 p.m. this Sunday, Aug. 9, at the Chessick Practice Center and Huskie Stadium.
The free event features activity stations for the kids run by NIU student-athletes and tours of the new premium areas of Huskie Stadium for the adults, as well as the chance to get autographs and 2015 schedule posters. Following the autograph session, everyone is invited to head out to the Brigham Field turf and settle in to watch “Big Hero 6” on the stadium scoreboard with popcorn provided.
Student-athletes from several NIU teams, including football, will be set up in stations around the Chessick Center, while additional kid-friendly activities include the NIU bounce house, face painting, corn hole and bowling will be set up. Parents are asked to stay with their children as they visit the different stations. Victor E. Huskie and the NIU cheerleaders will be on hand and concessions will be available for purchase (limited menu).
Free parking for the event is available in all paved lots surrounding Huskie Stadium and the Chessick Center and fans should enter the Chessick Center through the west entrance to the Barsema Hall of Champions (across from Ralph McKinzie Baseball Field). Tours of the new End Zone Club and Coaches Club at Huskie Stadium will leave from the registration area in 30-minute intervals.

Fans who elect to stay for Movie Night (or who skip the Family Fun Day and arrive in time to enjoy the movie) are encouraged to bring blankets and water, but no chairs, balls, pets or outside food items are allowed. Restrooms will be open on the East Side of Huskie Stadium. In case of inclement weather, the Family Fun Day will be held inside the Chessick Center, but Movie Night may be rescheduled or canceled.

Other ticket options include two different three-game mini-plans for just $75, the new Huskie Family Pack, which includes four season tickets in sections A, B, F or G of Huskie Stadium for just $299 or the Young Alumni Ticket, with two East Side season tickets for $115 for all 2014-15 NIU graduates.
