parkingThe City of DeKalb announces a Parking Restrictions Open House for Wards 5 and 7 on October 26, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 200 South Fourth Street in DeKalb.

The City has reviewed all of the parking restrictions throughout the City. Throughout this review process, staff has identified parking restrictions that are no longer functional because they are out of date, in conflict with each other, or contain an error. These corrections have been identified and reviewed by the Neighborhood Services Committee consisting of representatives from all City Departments. The City is now looking to receive input from citizens regarding the proposed changes to the parking restrictions.

At the beginning of the Open House there will be a brief presentation describing the process used to review all of the parking restrictions.

After the presentation, City Staff will provide maps and copies of the parking restrictions for review. Comment forms will be available and we encourage your feedback. Your participation at the Open House is important to the success of the project. We encourage all interested parties to attend this meeting.
