The filing period for candidates’ petitions for the April 4, 2017, Consolidated Election is December 12 – 19, 2016, for the offices of Mayor, City Clerk, and Alderman in Wards 2, 4, 6, and 7 (two-year unexpired term) in DeKalb, Illinois.
Petition packets are filed with the City Clerk or Deputy City Clerk during this period. Office hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (closed from Noon to 1:00 p.m.) at DeKalb’s City Hall, 400 S. 4th Street in DeKalb.
