Sycamore PD to host Community Education Seminars

The Sycamore Police Department will be hosting a series of educational seminars, designed to give the public a closer look at how officers go about their jobs.

These free classes will be held at the department’s headquarters; topics include:

April 11, 7:00 p.m. — “What is My Child Doing Online?” (parents only)

April 18, 7:00 p.m. — “When Can the Police Use Force?”

May 4, 7:00 p.m. — “How Do the Police Collect Evidence?”

August 1, 7:00 p.m. — “Who and What are School Resource Officers?”

September 5, 7:00 p.m. — “Why Shouldn’t I Send This Gift Card to the IRS?”

October 3, 7:00 p.m. — “How Do the Police Investigate Illegal Drugs?”
