Two of DeKalb County’s smaller towns are still looking for residents to fill Village Trustee positions.
The Board of Trustees in Maple Park is looking to appoint someone to a vacancy on their Board. The candidate must have been a resident in the Village of Maple Park for one year or more and be willing to attend one Board meeting a month and at least two committee meetings per month. As a Trustee you would also be required to do online Open Meetings Act training and submit the Economic Interest Statement to the county in which you live.

The Maple Park Village President will be appointing the new Trustee at the May 2, 2017, Board of Trustees meeting.
