The Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, best known for its wide variety of entertainment from music to comedy to theatrical presentations, is welcoming back the unmistakable voice of one of the most popular pop-rock bands to emerge from the classic 70s rock-era, SUPERTRAMP. ROGER HODGSON will return to the Arcada Theatre for two nights, Monday, October 23 and Tuesday, October 24. Both shows will begin at 7:30 pm.
“With over two hundred-fifty national acts that perform here at The Arcada annually, I can honestly say that Roger’s show is definitely one of the most exciting and most requested shows we are presenting this year,” said Arcada President/CEO Ron Onesti. “It’s one of those rare shows that I actually personally sit front-and-center for!”
Roger Hodgson co-founded SUPERTRAMP in 1969 and was with them until his departure in 1983. During the 14 years that he was with the band he wrote, sang, and arranged most of the enduring rock standards that made SUPERTRAMP a worldwide phenomenon. His timeless classics such as “Give a Little Bit,” “The Logical Song,” “Dreamer,” “Take the Long Way Home,” “Breakfast in America,” “School,” “Fool’s Overture,” and “It’s Raining Again,” helped the band sell well over 60 million albums.
Roger Hodgson’s show sold out two nights at The Arcada in 2016 and is sure to be a sellout this year.
“Roger’s show is hit after hit after hit. His timeless songs coupled with one of the most distinctive voices in Rock history provides for a sing-a-long night that fans really go crazy for, I being one of them!” said Onesti.
