Plan to go to the Democratic Candidates’ Forum for the 16th Congressional District this Sunday, February 18th, at DeKalb Public Library, 309 Oak St., in the Yusunas Room from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Voters for the 16th Congressional District seat held by U.S. Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Channahon, have choices in the 2018 election. On the Democratic side, four candidates are running, and on the Republican side, Kinzinger has a challenger.
Come to a forum Sunday to hear the views of the four Democrats; Neill Mohammad, health care consultant; Sara Dady, immigration lawyer; Beth Vercolio-Osmund, organic partner; and Amy Murri Briel, community activist. The four Democratic candidates running for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 16th congressional district will each give an opening statement and then answer questions submitted by members of the audience as they take their seats for the forum. The audience will have a chance to meet with the candidates afterwards.
