Go Stargazing this Sunday with NIU STEM Outreach!


Join NIU STEM Outreach for a dazzling evening of stargazing and viewing of the annual Perseid meteor shower this Sunday, August 12th, from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. These brilliant meteors radiate from the Perseus constellation and appear throughout the sky.

From 6:30-9 p.m., food is available for purchase. From 7-9 p.m. experts will discuss the night sky and hot astrophysics topics. And from 9-10:30 p.m., after dark, watch the meteor shower and view the night sky through your own telescope or those provided by NIU. For more information please visit the NIU STEM webpage.
