Congratulations to Dylan Propheter of DeKalb, recipient of the 2018 Palmer Family Music Education Scholarship award. Following his graduation from DeKalb High School this past May, Dylan plans to attend Illinois Wesleyan University in the fall, majoring in Music Education.

“Music has been a passion of mine since I was very young,” said Dylan. “Every experience I’ve had with teaching music is a highlight of my life. Encouragement from music instructors have shaped me into the person I am today. I look forward to doing that for the next generation.”
