Join Steven Bigolin, noted local historian, as the guided walking tours of Sycamore’s History District continue throughout the summer. Bigolin will lead a tour highlighting the architecture and local history connected to the homes along DeKalb Avenue.

We’ll meet at the DeKalb County Community Foundation (former train depot at 475 Dekalb Ave, Sycamore) and walk as far as the Salem Lutheran Church and back. We will cover lots of interesting stories of the people who made this picturesque street one of the most sought out locations in Sycamore. The tour will last about an hour and a half, so wear comfortable shoes

Cost of the tour is $5 per person, and handouts with information on highlighted locations will be provided.

For details about the specific stops on the tour, or other programs offered call (815) 895-5762.

Sunday, September 2, 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
