Packed Agenda for DeKalb City Council Special Mtg Tuesday

There is a lot on the agenda for Tuesday’s special meeting of the DeKalb City Council, including approval of the new City Manager, adoption of the 2019 Annual Budget, 2018 TIF Surplus Declaration, and authorization of several TIF projects including the Egyptian Theatre, a Fiber-Optic Network and a Public Safety Camera System.

The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 in the City Council Chambers on the 2nd Floor of the DeKalb Municipal Building, 200 S. Fourth Street, DeKalb, Illinois.

Resolution 2018-166 Authorizing a Preliminary Incentive Agreement for the Renovation of the Former St. Mary’s Hospital at 145 Fisk Avenue to a Boutique Hotel and Associated Commercial Uses.

Resolution 2018-167 Authorizing a Tax Increment Financing Incentive for the Rehabilitation of the Properties Located at 241-249 East Lincoln Highway.
