Last Call for the Winter Reading Challenge – Ending Soon!
Dates: December 10th – January 13th
Place: Sycamore Public Library, 103 E. State St.
Information: (815) 895-2500 ext 131 (Youth Services) or ext 126 (Adult Services)

Youth Services: Read for two hours and play book bingo!  Try turning in a reading log each week.  Each submission will grant you access to spin the prize wheel and an entry into the GRAND PRIZE drawing!  Youth Services reading logs may be picked up at the Children’s Desk.

Adult Services: Start reading and complete as many reading logs as you would like!  Each book equals one submission for the grand prize.  Adult reading logs may be picked up at the Adult Service’s Reference Desk.

All entries must be submitted by 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 13th.
Winners will be notified on Monday, January 14th.

Drop-In Tech Help

Date: Monday, January 7th at 11:00 am and 6:00 pm.
Place: Sycamore Public Library, 103 E. State St.

Receive a new gadget over the holidays? Not quite sure how it works? Just need a refresher on your tablet? Drop on into the Sycamore Public Library from 11-12 or 6-7 to receive help from our knowledgeable staff!

Three Kings Day Party

Place: Sycamore Public Library, 103 E. State St.

At this fun, bilingual event the 4H Club will talk about what this day means and share some of the day’s traditions, like the nativity scene, traditional songs, hot chocolate and rosca de reyes (a delicious sweet bread)!  Everyone is welcome!  No signup required.

Winter Mural Class

Date: Wednesday, January 9th at 4:00 pm and Thursday, January 10th at 4:00 pm.
Place: Sycamore Public Library, 103 E. State St.

Join artist, Jo Plenger-Schulz to create a wonderful winter-themed mural for our library during this two class series from 4-5:30pm.  Attend one or both sessions!  Learn how to mix colors & create a masterpiece you can be proud of!  Ages 8-12.  Registration required.
