April 2, 2019 Consolidated Election Information


The DeKalb County Consolidated Election will take place on April 2, 2019.

The offices that will be up for election are:

Municipal – Mayor or President (where necessary) Alderman or Trustee
Park District –  Commissioners
Public and Township Library –  Trustees
Regional Board of School Trustees – Trustees
School District – Board Members
Community College District – Trustees
Fire Protection District – Trustees



If you are going to be 18 before the April 2, 2019 Consolidated Election, or if you just haven’t registered yet, you can register to vote now. The last day of regular registration is March 6, 2019.

February 21: Early Voting begins at Sycamore Campus (Early Voting Schedule)
March 5:
 Last Day of Regular Registration
March 6: First Day for Grace Period Registration/Voting
March 18: Early Voting Begins at three Satellite Sites: Kirkland Village Hall, DeKalb Township Building and Sandwich Fire Station
March 27: Voting Begins at NIU Holmes Student Center
March 28: Last Day for County Clerk to receive by mail a Vote by Mail Application
April 1: Last Day of early voting at Sycamore Campus
April 2: Consolidated Election Day

There are many opportunities and options for you to register to vote. You may register to vote at the
Office of the County Clerk:

Administration Building – 2nd Floor
110 East Sycamore Street, Sycamore, IL 60178
Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday

You can also register at many banks, libraries, the Department of Motor Vehicles and municipalities in DeKalb County. For information on the Deputy Registrar nearest you, contact the County Clerk’s office at (815) 895-7147.
