The Sycamore Public Library (103 E. State St.) continues their 4-week Financial Workshop Series on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.
Last week, they presented the Foundations of Investing. This week’s topic will be Retirement By Design.

Session 2 – Retirement By Design
This seminar illustrates how you can translate your vision for retirement into tangible goals. Whether you are 10 or 40 years from retirement, you’ll learn investment strategies to help design the retirement you want. We’ll also discuss how you can add flexibility to your strategy to help you handle unexpected events and how you can keep your strategy on track.

Session 3 – Ready or Not? Preparing for the Unexpected
Life is full of surprises. A job loss, prolonged illness or unexpected loss of a family member can profoundly impact your family’s financial situation. Ready or Not? Preparing for the Unexpected outlines proactive strategies you can use to help protect your family and to keep your financial strategy from veering off course.

Season 4 – Retirement: Making Your Money Last
We’ll discuss ways to help you work toward fulfilling your retirement expectations. And, we’ll focus on how to provide for your income needs, including your retirement income for the future. We’ll also explore how to address key concerns such as inflation, health care expenses, market volatility and unexpected events.
