DeKalb Police Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness

Community members may ask why DeKalb Police Officers are suddenly wearing pink t-shirts, pink ribbons, or displaying pink squad car decals. Throughout the month of October, members of the DeKalb Police Department will be supporting the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. Officers will be encouraged and authorized to display pink on their uniforms and squad cars for the month of October.

In 2018, the DeKalb Police Department participated in No Shave November to raise money for “Heroes & Helpers” (Shop with a Cop). The department will be participating in future awareness campaigns as well. Please consider getting involved in the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign or another one of these wonderful philanthropic campaigns by raising awareness or donating to a cause of your choosing.
