Seniors Get Meal Deals at Select Locations


There are a few major perks to aging, finally retiring, hanging with fellow retirees, gone fishing, traveling or finally having the time to follow your dream and take that bucket list dream vacation. 

However, when living on a limited or fixed income eating out can be a concern for many Senior Citizens. But there are some little perks, like age-based discounts. When you think senior discount, you may think you have to be age 60 or 65 to be eligible. But there are lots of discounts available for those 50, 55 and older. Most food establishments do not ask for IDs but some locations may require proof. 

Please note that many deals may vary at participating locations and can change without notice.

Wendy’s: Gives free coffee or other discounts depending on location.

Burger King: 10% discount on purchase depending on location (60+)

McDonald’s: Discounts on coffee and beverages (55+)

Arby’s: 10 percent; some offer a discounted soft drink. 

Raising’ Cane’s: 10 percent; some locations offer a senior special. 

Whataburger: Free drink with purchase of a meal, depending on location (55+)

Piccadilly Cafeteria: 10% discount with “Prime Time for Seniors” card.

IHOP: 10% discount (55+) and a menu for people aged 55 and over at participating locations.

Krispy Kreme: 10% off (50+) (age and discount varies depending on location)

Subway: 10% off (60+) varies by location.

Beef Shack: 10% off (age and discount varies depending on location)

Chili’s: 10 percent discount for customers 55 and over 

The Old Spaghetti Factory: Spaghetti Factory “Senior Menu” offers a discounted list of menu items.

Uno Pizzaria & Grill: “Double Nickel Club” 25% off on Wednesday (55+)

Sizzler: Offers “Honored Guest Menu” (60+) varies by location.

Old Country Buffet: Daily discounts for seniors (55+)

Friendly’s Restaurants: 10% off meal w/ free coffee at breakfast.

KFC: Free small drink with any meal depending on location (55+)

Country Kitchen: Great Senior Menu (55+)

Dunkin’:  AARP discount of 10 percent.

Some locations have hour requirements for discounts. Many local independent restaurants, not part of a franchise, may offer a discount. Please ask when visiting that favorite hometown food establishment.

NOTE: Many of these same locations offer Discounts to Miltary Veterans.
