Nonprofit organizations and eligible public sector direct service organizations interested in applying for a grant from the DeKalb County Community Foundation are invited to a free workshop on January 13, 2021, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. The workshop will take place online via Zoom. An attendance link and audio instructions will be sent upon registration. RSVP to attend by January 4. Registration link can be found on the Foundation website at dekalbccf.org.
Workshop attendees will learn valuable tips and strategies to increase their chances of receiving funding from the Foundation’s various grant programs. Attendees will also gain a better understanding of the Community Foundation including grant programs, Fund types, community initiatives, and how they all work together to benefit DeKalb County. The workshop is led by Foundation staff and will provide ample time for questions.
“This workshop is one way that applicants and potential applicants can receive all the information and tools they need to best position themselves for support from the Foundation,” said Tiffany McQueen Lewis, Community Foundation Grants Director. “We are committed to ensuring that our grant programs are accessible by all and that anyone who seeks support from the Foundation to further their mission understands the application process. The workshop will also demystify frequently asked questions about how, when, and where to apply.”
