The public is invited to a combination 4th and 5th Ward meeting to discuss concerns and issues within these wards and impacting the City of DeKalb.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, beginning at 7:30 p.m. via the ZOOM platform with advance registration requested and required.
Send your request to join the meeting to the following e-mail address no later than Monday, October 19. Please include your residential ward number (if known), your Zoom screen name (once established) and your name (optional). This will facilitate contact for future such meetings.

Due to COVID-19, the meeting will be held remotely-only. Attendees are welcome to participate or just listen in, and may record and/or live-stream the meeting. Phone-in participation is also an option for those so desiring.
Topics for discussion will include, but are not limited to:
• redevelopment on the south side of DeKalb,
• crime and safety,
• the city’s response to COVID-19, and
• other City of DeKalb and Ward Four / Five concerns.
A majority of a quorum of established government bodies may or may not be present but no formal voting will take place. This is a citizen-organized event (not hosted by Ward Council Members) and is not a government-sponsored meeting, but may involve the
attendance of some elected officials.
