The Great Outdoors Fishing, Hunting, Boat, and RV Expo returns to Northern Illinois and the Fox River Valley in 2012.
BEST WESTERN PLUS Timber Creek Inn & Suites and Convention Center in Sandwich, IL is proud to announce it will host The 2ND Annual Great Outdoors Fishing, Hunting, Boat, and RV Expo the first weekend of February 2012. Join other outdoor enthusiasts and take in all of the attractions within the 25,000 square feet of indoor expo and convention center space. Some of the improvements at this year’s show inlcude providing more variety in vendor/exhibit booths as well as cash and carry items. The show has also added Friday afternoon pre-show times from 4PM to 8PM to allow for an earlier closing time of 2PM on Sunday. We have adjusted the schedule so that the show can end a bit earlier and folks can enjoy the big football game. The goal is to capitalize on last year’s overwhelming success while promising both vendors and attendees an even better show!
Along with vendor booths, the show will again feature some of the finest local fishing and hunting professionals. From pan fish to smallmouth and musky, these area professionals will have you itching to get out and hit the water. Watch in amazement as fishing professionals demo their newest tricks of the trade from atop the 4,000 gallon feature fish tank. Observe demonstrations of your favorite lure from the fishes’ point of view and right in front of your own eyes. Hunters eager for upcoming turkey season will want to check out tactics and premier gear & gadgets for spring 2012. A special turkey hunting seminar will feature a live demonstration on field dressing a turkey as well as cooking techniques. Waterfowl and deer hunters can attend informative seminars designed specifically for them. Be sure to bring the kids! Timber Creek will host a kids calling contest with prizes for our participants and winners!
Looking to join a local hunting or fishing club? Look no further than our show where members of local clubs exhibit awards, trophies and upcoming event schedules while sharing incentives for new member registration.
Don’t hunt or fish? No problem. There will be an area dedicated to camping and boating with kids’ activities both days. So make plans and spend a day or the weekend at Illinois’ newest and most exciting outdoor show!
